After you have applied and been accepted into Briar Cliff University, our Financial Services Office will want to start creating your award letter. Here is how you can help.

  1. Complete your FAFSA To be eligible for financial aid at Briar Cliff University, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Briar Cliff’s FAFSA code is 001846.

  2. Explore Available Scholarships There are several, merit and need-based, scholarships at Briar Cliff University. Complete the forms here to apply or get in touch with the appropriate persons regarding the scholarships that you are eligible for.  

  3. Complete a Notification of Outside Aid If you are receiving any outside or private scholarships or grants, please be sure to submit a notification of outside aid to Financial Services. This will enable Briar Cliff University to credit the funds to your account. 

Finally, when all the applications above are completed, Briar Cliff will determine your financial aid eligibility and send you a "Notification of Award." This document will list all the types of aid programs and the amounts for which you qualify. If you would like to accept this award for the coming year, you must sign and return this letter to Financial Services.
